France Chapelle Royale Saint Ferdinand 1845 erected in memory of Prince Royal bronze medal by Borrel 26mm. Portrait of the Prince Royal, Ferdinand Philippe Louis duc d’Orleans. Reverse the chapel built in his memory after he died in 1842, after a road accident. The construction was carried out 1843-43 and now a parish church, Notre-Dame-de-la-Compassion, Paris. Moved in the 1970s stone by stone to make way for the new Palais de Congres.
