Silver openwork medal badge South America? crowned shield 3 mountains bishop’s mitre 100 x 90mm. Lilies to left and roses to right. Originally we thought Central America? see Costa Rica, Guatemala coinage but haven’t tracked it down. Possibly San Marino??? The cross and bishop’s mitre indicates an ecclesiastical connection and the flowers, the Marian tradition (cult of the Virgin Mary). Curious and ripe for research!
