France bronze medal Fondation Firmin-Rainbeaux 1916 Mining for service.  Designed by Hippolyte Lefebvre, bronze 50mm.

Portrait of the founder of the coal mining company while the reverse has miners rewarded for service by classically robed woman.  Awarded to Delorraine, Oliver, Commissaire 1931.

The mining company is based at Marles-les-Mines, near Bethune, Pas-de-Calais northern France.  Started in mid 19th century it was operating at strength at the beginning of the 20th century.
