South London, Strand School 1933 Athletics prize medal – silver awarded to A D Trutwein

This needs further checking but we think this refers to

ALLEN DOUGLAS TRUTWEIN

Trutwein was in the RAF during WW2 but joined the Colonial police as an inspector.  He was posted to Palestine and killed by a terrorist bombing in Tel Aviv in 1947.  He was 41-42 when he died.
