Reverse Scene with horse drawn ambulance, stretcher bearers and team of medics, doctors, tending a wounded soldier. The illustration on the obverse of the medal by Alphee Dubois is based on a drawing now held at the Wellcome Institute (RAMC/117), London. The prize was created thanks to a donation by Sir Moses Montefiore. T 60mm. 115g. sterling silver.
