France Duval Janvier reducing machine bronze advertising medal by Charpentier 1908. The mint worker, bare chested, works the machine – the reverse shows the image in increasingly smaller sizes. The machine revolutionised the making of coins and medals, allowing for large plasters to be reduced to a much smaller size. Super condition. 60 x 53mm.
