MB109347 Pewter medal Pierre Turin Prix de Rome 1920 Monnaie de Paris series for the Club de la Medaille.
Although Turin usually thought of as an Art Deco artist and medallist he won the Prix de Rome with a neo-classical image, very 19th century and very accomplished. However, the reverse is very 1920’s Deco style.
The condition of this medal is not great – it’s bent! 1967 no. 4/150 limited edition of the Club Francais de la Medaille
