Henry IV of France & Marie of Austria portrait medal by Guillaume Dupre.  A uniface secondary cast of medal made to commemorate birth of Dauphin in 1603

ronze 66mm  – should be 70mm for a original cast

This examole has lost  size & detail during casting process.  In addition it has seen considerable wear – an integral loop at the top has broken off (the break is also quite worn)
