It was in 1922 that Mr. E. J. Hardy, a motor car accessory manufacturer of Coventry formed a partnership with a capital of £2,000 and established the British Bound Brook Oil‐less Bearing Company, by agreement with the Bound Brook Oil‐less Bearing Company of Bound Brook, New Jersey. Manufacture commenced at 98 Bradford Street, Birmingham, of graphite filled bearings, and these are still made in modified form today. As of 1972. Now part od GKN
