Belgium Hainaut bronze medal for Opening of agricultural hall and meat market 1935.  By style this looks like Dutch manufacture, but the shield on the back bears the arms of Hainaut (4 lions) in southern Belgium with a fruitful tree, and a double-headed eagle.  To either side S C.  A puzzle!

The other side shows a large modern building, a market, by a river with an old city in the distance.   In exergue is the following Latin text for 1935:

AGRICOLARUM LUCRO MERCATORUM COMMODO CIVIUM BONO EXSTRUCTUM FORUM BOARIUM

FORUM BUILDING FOR THE PROFIT OF AGRICULTURAL MERCHANTS, FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF CITIZENS, FOR THE GOOD OF THE BOAR

So somewhere with a large pig farming industry.

Bronze 60mm.  flan 3mm. only.
