BAMS cast bronze medal Ivanka Mincheva THE CRUEL OCEAN 1988. Â Â Edition of 22 medals
Bulgarian medallist Ivanka Mincheva has since moved to USA to live after doing this medal for BAMS.  The reverse takes a text from a ballad by John Gay about ‘beauty born in suffering; expectation, hope and the last resort, dreams’.  Mincheva was the guest speaker at BAMS 1988 congress.
Struck bronze 76mm.
