The Dutton Prize has a long and meaningful history within Nantwich. Established in 1989 through a fund and collection of medals entrusted to Nantwich Museum Trustees by distinguished medal maker Ron Dutton, the prize was created to recognise individuals who have made a significant contribution to the life of the town through voluntary work and good deeds. The award now forms part of the Salt of the Earth Awards, continuing its original purpose of celebrating those who enrich the community through service and dedication.
