Canada Wreck of the Hudson Bay Company SS Beaver 1892 Vancouver 2 gilt medals made from copper taken from the wreck and made into a brooch. The first steamer on the Pacific and also crossed the Atlantic in 1835. The medal was given to members of the Canadian Navy during WW1. Ref. Leroux 773 & 859. Each medal 22mm. Diameter of the brooch 43mm.
