France Exposition Internationale Cuisine Alimentation Hygiene Paris Food Exhibition gilt bronze medal 1911 by Massonet 59mm. The obverse in the Symbolist style shows a woman in classical dress showing a frail old man the way to a care home, maison de retraite, after his work in the factories is done (chimneys smoking in the distance). Strange image for this exhibition but Hygiene included all sorts of tech to make life easier. Given by the Union Philanthropique Societe Technique de l’Almentation.
