Silver medal awarded for the best Smoked Hams (not over 15lbs). Palethorpes is now based in Market Drayton Shropshire. It was founded in the 1850s. It made its name as a producer of sausages at the turn of the 20th century in response to a flood of cheap imports of bacon from USA.
