Rugby League gold prize medal enamelled – Northern Rugby Combination won by J Bullen Wigan FC 1912-13 (Lancashire)
Jim Bullen was a good runner. He won a number of the professional races in the North of England in the period 1900-1904He then became a star winger at Wigan FC which was top of the tree in the early teens of the 20th century.
The medal is 9 carat gold and enamel 13.36g. total weight (so gold value a touch under £300) in its original presentation case.
